As a Product Manager here in Auckland, you will be responsible for creating value for our partners by steering the next evolution of our Practice Products and helping Xero achieving its goals. You’ll be supported by a talented bunch of product development people in the best software development environment NZ has to offer.

What are we looking for:

• Experience setting a product vision and roadmap
• Experience working with development teams to deliver great product
• An ability to champion your product throughout the business and take it to market
• A customer-centric attitude and inclusive approach
• Experience with cloud and/or SaaS products

What you'll do:

• Understand customer problems - you will be the champion of the ‘what’ and the ‘why’ and deliver value through defining, driving and executing a product roadmap that realises Xero’s vision and objectives and ensures its success
• Bridge technical and business worlds as you’ll lead strong and productive relationships with global business stakeholders to understand and deliver on market needs and priorities, and evangelise Xero’s vision
• Lead our product development teams, in conjunction with your product owners. You’ll take an active involvement in development team resource planning and recruitment
• Work with strategy, product marketing, data and research teams and drive user and competitive research to uncover customer needs and new product value propositions
• Work closely with your peers across Xero to deliver quality software with amazing user experiences that solve real customer problems
• Cultivate a fun, creative and motivated culture that lives and breathes Xero’s values
