Due to growth we are looking for highly organised and proactive Order Management assistants to join our Sales Operations Team.

This role isn't for the faint hearted, it's all about a juggling act of constant demands. Organisation is key for this role as you are under pressure dealing with timelines, having a sense of urgency and using your methodical know how.

You'll be working in the Sales Operations team acting between the customer, vendor and the Westcon Sales team, leveraging both Westcon-Comstor and Vendor tools/systems to place purchase orders on vendors, receipt licensing, providing delivery ETAs and relevant sales and procurement reporting.

This busy role is responsible for:
• Entering customer orders into Westcon ERP systems and applications
• Supporting customers with all sales order requirements
• Providing accurate ETA's for all customer orders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Fulfilling Westcon vendor/ product based procurement responsibilities associated to open sales orders
• Liaising with logistics staff, suppliers and freight forwarders in relation to outstanding shipments and to issue resolution

To be considered for this position you will:
• Have strong and proven interpersonal and communication skills - both verbal and written
• Hold previous experience in order management, purchasing and customer service roles - previous employment in a distribution company would be highly regarded
• Be self-motivated and driven to solve problems in a fast paced team environment
• Have excellent administrative and organisational skills, attention to detail, proactive follow-up and efficient time management
• Have great computer skills, including experience in software or hardware products and experience with working in SAP ERP is an advantage
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new applications, systems and tools
• Experience supporting a technology portfolio will be highly regarded
