A kiwi-ownend company are looking for a Team Leader for their current team and would like a tech-savvy candidate with leadership experience to join their organisation. They would need you to assist the current team in building sound infrastructure and support systems. They are well-known in the industry and bring reassurance and structure to everyday operations. They work within a diversity of client business strategies all over New Zealand.
 
Your position as the Helpdesk Team Leader:

 
The Helpdesk Team Leader will be a key member of the Information Technology team, you would need to ensure positive, professional and collegial interactions at all times. You will need to lead, motivate, and improve the IT Helpdesk Team, maintain relationships and proved support for the IT team, Managers, and staff.
 
 
A day in the life:
 

Take overall responsibility for open helpdesk calls ensuring assignment and escalation it timely and appropriate
Ensure the helpdesk operates according to the processes defined and agreed
Improve the function of the helpdesk by identifying, implementing, and monitoring process improvements
Provide reports to the IT Manager as agreed.
 
Your background:
 
A helpful and friendly disposition with clear communication skills
3+ years experience as a Helpdesk Team leader
2nd level and 3rd level support experience 3 - 4 years
A good understanding of Microsoft servers and software
Experience with configuring hardware and software
Experience in Active Directory, MS Exchange, Citrix and Remote Desktop applications
