An exciting new opportunity has become available for a customer orientated Desktop Support Analyst to join a leading national Financial Services organisation, known for its excellent company culture and stellar reputation. This role is responsible for user facing operational support and maintenance within a desktop computing environment. Due to the support that you are offering end users, your excellent customer service and relationship building skills will be what helps you flourish in this position.

Along with ensuring optimal workstation performance, the role also includes timely incident management and monitoring. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with people, providing a high standard of service and has a keen understanding of technology.  You will have an interest in process improvement, able to work with minimal supervision and available to provide afterhours support on a rostered basis.

Joining an expert IT environment, you will need experience providing single point of contact support and maintenance to end users and ideally have the following skills and experience:

  • 1-2 years relevant experience and expert knowledge of PCs and desktop hardware
  • A strong drive to provide excellent customer service
  • Working knowledge of current protocols, operating systems and standards
  • A+ and N+ experience preferred
  • Application knowledge including SQL, MS Office, Windows OS, Exchange
  • Microsoft Desktop Support Technician an advantage
