Our client is a well-known and respected national brand who operates at the heart of New Zealand’s economy. They are in the process of growing their newly established Wellington Office, which will allow access to a wider talent pool of digital and technical specialists to compliment and work in with technical teams in other New Zealand locations.

Once fully established, our clients Wellington office will host a range of skills and functions including Architecture, Scrum Masters, Junior, Intermediate and Senior Developers, Network Engineers, Cloud Operations and Security specialists.
We are actively looking for experienced Developers to join and be a part of the exciting journey of establishing a new office. Be a part of a start-up feel, but with the backing of a large nationwide organisation!

Whilst we are looking for technical skills (outlined below) we are mostly looking for attitude and style. If you have a burning curiosity with technologies, develop for fun in your own time and work on meaningful projects, love to work on greenfields projects and not your standard feature enhancement & bug fix work – we want to hear from you.


Technical skills and experience and (style!) we are seeking:

• Experience in Ruby preferred - full-stack web development working with Ruby, Typescript & Node (or a desire to learn these)
• Pair programming in our continuous learning environment
• Excellent communication skills (code included) to collaborate with a wide range of people
• Comfortable working in an agile environment (yes, you'll be pair-programming)
• An inquisitive, proactive and friendly manner
• A pioneer’s mindset and the ability to thrive within a fast-growing company.
• You are someone who prides themselves on writing beautiful and efficient code: You care about quality, code that not only developers appreciate but the end users love using.
• You have excellent communication skills; you understand the value in transparent conversations between all team members.
