The Role
Join our Engineering and Experience group and be part of a team responsible for leading edge technology products that people enjoy using. We empower our teams to innovate and experiment when solving the important problems for our clients who are at the center of everything we do.
This role is an exciting opportunity to lead development teams in Auckland that are building our Partner Foundations capabilities for Accountants and Bookkeepers. Partner Foundations are the heart of our Practice Online solution - being the core capabilities of Client, Contacts, Access Management and our Shell and providing these as services to other development groups both internally and externally.
You will be tasked with building and growing highly engaged teams who understand MYOB, their client’s and the market needs and who feel connected to the services and results they delivery.
The role will be a key member of the Partners Nation Leadership Team and will be actively involved in our Future Makers initiatives. You will work collaboratively with a Product Manager and be accountable for the delivery of customer solutions and will report into the Head of Delivery, Partners.

What you will bring:
- 5+ years proven leadership in Software Development Leadership roles;
- Demonstrated leadership skills including coaching/mentoring, critical thinking, facilitation, change leadership, and team development;
- Proven experience in managing high performance development capabilities, utilising agile methodologies;
- Experience working in complex system architectures, including both web and smart client technology;
- Ability to inspire the team, attract and retain talent and build trusting, meaningful relationships with peers, stakeholders, partners and suppliers;
- This role is Auckland based.
