These roles report to the CTO and General Manager of the respective businesses, you will be responsible for leading a broad team of Senior Project and Programme managers while managing the day-to-day of the PMO.

Description

The PMO Manager will be responsible for:

• Management of Project Portfolios
Advise the executive capital review meeting and the IT project Review Board around opportunities to be gained from portfolio planning across the CAPEX and portfolios.
• PMO leadership
Provide day to day management for the PMO and support the leadership through managing the portfolio project through governance and controls.
• Governance
Maintain and improve a robust governance process that captures, reports and escalates project status across all measurable project characteristics, informing stakeholders in a timely manner.
Ensure the management and reporting of project/program dependencies and ensure proactive management of dependencies in projects/programs.
• Reporting
Produce consolidated reporting of active projects for the IT PRB and Executive Capital Review, highlighting the health status of the portfolio and supporting commentary on remedial actions to be undertaken to re-baseline any failing activity.
• Stakeholder engagement/communication
Manage and coordinate stakeholder engagement and communication across projects/programs on a timely basis.
Maintain good stakeholder relationships with projects and programs within the portfolio.

Profile

  • Previous experience in establishing and developing a PMO
  • Ability to provide examples of a hands-on approach in a previous PMO position
  • Senior level end to end project management experience in complex environments
  • Utilising Prince2/PMP, Agile and Waterfall
  • Ability to engage with executive and management teams
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to navigate any business environment
  • IT Service management background is ideal
