Here at O.S.S., we are specialists in modern technology infrastructure & automation with proven experience in designing, implementing and managing enterprise systems. We’ve been working with iconic NZ brands for the past 20+ years, have seen strong and consistent growth. Our technical teams are currently working in areas such as Containerisation, On-premise, Cloud and Hybrid implementations.

Right now, we are looking for a Wellington-based Delivery Manager.

The role comprises two parts, 1) Client Delivery Management - we're after someone who will be the client champion into O.S.S. You'll achieve this by spending time on-site, understanding the customers’ businesses and representing this back to O.S.S. teams, building strong and trusted relationships both internally and with the customers. 2) Delivery Team Management, looking after the local technical team and ensuring they are delivering well – recruiting, guiding their development plans, resource allocation and quality control, etc.

You will ensure our teams are engaged, that our customers receive the exceptional service we've become known for, be front and centre in representing O.S.S. and our suppliers back into our customers business. The Delivery Manager role is central to our team and touches every part of our company.

 

Ideally, you will have:

  • A passion for positively influencing and developing team culture.
  • A passion for customer service and delivery excellence.
  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure management.
  • 5+ years experience in a client facing role with emphasis on relationship building.
  • 5+ years exposure to an outsourced service management model
  • Strong communication skills and an aptitude for creating easy-to-comprehend reports.
  • A track record in effective SLA management & reporting.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Leadership and a sense of urgency.
  • An ability to pick up new ideas and learn on the fly.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Attention to detail.

 

Advantageous to the role would be to have:

  • An understanding of basic DevOps and CI/CD principles.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with problem-solving methodologies (lean six-sigma).
