PlatformPlus Limited is a Cloud Services and Managed Services provider within New Zealand and Internationally. We are a fast growing company, taking on more customers and services daily. As part of this growth we require a Senior Network Engineer or Network Architect to support an increasingly large and complex Cloud Provider Network.
The role involves support of the current global network for our Cloud Services, designing and maintaining an always up highly available network backbone between our Data Centre locations both within NZ and Europe.
Our ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of large core networking solutions and knowledge of Global network providers.
Core skills for this role:
- At least 10 years experience in networking
- Previous Telco networking experience preferable
- A relevant tertiary qualification
- Technical involvement in large scale projects
- Technical writing and documentation to a high standard
- Security and firewalls experience or knowledge
- A willingness to go the extra mile
- Good health
- The legal right to work in New Zealand
- A full clean NZ Driver’s licence
- Ability to meet a Police check
