The Fusion5 ApprovalPlus consulting team is now looking for a Technical Consultant to assist in the on-going support of the ApprovalPlus product. The Technical Consultant is expected to play a key role in the support, implementation and testing of the software.

Your job will include:

• Installation of the ApprovalPlus system, when purchased by our customers as an on-premise solution
• Co-ordinate and support the implementation of interfaces to the ApprovalPlus environment (e.g. SAP, Oracle MS365, Netsuite etc.)
• Handle system configuration, monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, performance optimization and support the daily operations of multiple ApprovalPlus instances hosted on SQLServer
• Work directly with the developers, application staff and end users to troubleshoot application issues
• Create and maintain ApprovalPlus reports
• Creating technical documentation

Required skill set:

• Ability to solve problems and to handle stressful situations, while working with non-technical customers, giving technical support
• Exposure to database Debugging and Optimisation will be an advantage
• Exposure to application and database performance optimisation, debugging and monitoring will be an advantage
• Exposure to software development and testing, preferably of web applications will be an advantage
•  Experience with Windows Server operating systems troubleshooting issues, such as Firewall rules and security etc.
• Experience with MS SQLServer, the ability to write SQL statements and troubleshoot common database issues.
• Exposure to SSIS and SSRS development
• Exposure to XML will be an advantage
• Exposure to Microsoft Visual Studio or Team Foundation Server
• Ability to work in a remote team environment and build professional relationships
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (fluent in English), organisation and time management capabilities
• Flexible and adaptable to change, with a willingness to learn new skills
• Be able to travel
