Advantage are an industry leading IT solutions Company currently looking for a highly skilled Junior System’s Engineer due to high growth.
At Advantage, we are in the business of building strong, long-lasting partnerships with our clients. Based in our Palmerston North Branch, you will form an integral part of our Managed Service & Security team, acting as front-line support for our client base.
Your role includes:
- Managing support tickets via phone, email and automated systems
- Using our range of remote support tools to proactively and reactively deal with client issues
- Prioritise and categorise support tickets
- Working within the team to seek answers or hand tickets off to other members as required
- Ongoing learning in the various technologies and products we support

Ideally you will have
- Excellent customer service/social skills
- Experience working in teams
- Knowledge of common business applications
- Experience in remote support tools
- A keen interest to learn
- Knowledge in Networking, Microsoft Operating Systems, Virtualisation, Firewalls, IT Security practises, Server and End User Hardware.
