About the Role:

We have an opening for a Team Lead to join our Performance Engineering team in a multifaceted role.

The Performance Engineering team are responsible for assuring performance across all our world-class software products, including reviewing the overall site’s performance, evaluating improvement areas and either performing or communicating solutions and recommendations to the wider Orion Health R&D teams.

So as a Team Lead, you’ll be an integral part of the team and help the team members shine, in all situations through understanding strengths, weaknesses and motivations of the team, identifying areas of growth within the team and providing feedback to facilitate this growth. You’ll continually seek to improve the team as a whole by finding innovative ideas and solutions to challenges and will help the team realise their full potential.

As a Technical Lead, you’ll be involved in reviewing in-depth analysis, generate and build load simulations that mirror real-world environments and run experiments in non-production environments to help the team pre-empt issues.

You’ll be lynch-pin between your team and the wider business including working with our professional services teams and customers to drive overall solution performance and review the performance of our products implemented at the customer’s site.  You’ll have the opportunity to partner with customers and gain a deep understanding of our how products perform within their unique environments and see our cutting-edge products in action.

About You:

You have a background in software or performance engineering and your leadership experience is based on a software knowledge foundation, understanding personalities, roles and outputs of a performance engineering team. 

Your experience as a Leader will enable you to coach, motivate and develop people of all seniority levels, you’ll “live and breathe” leadership, and continually seek ways of improving yourself and those around you. 

Experience engaging with customers in an enterprise environment is a definite advantage.
