Senior Network & Systems Engineer,
ISP & Cloud Service Provider

NakiCloud is a very well respected Managed IT Service Provider who have a number of years’ experience providing onsite Public and Private Cloud Hosting and IT services to the Taranaki region.
You will be an integral part of our expansion plans and we are seeking the interest from professional Senior Network & System Engineers who enjoy providing a high level of services and also enjoy challenging themselves to find solutions.
Current services include
Managed IT Services and Support, VOIP Phone Systems, Cloud Hosting & Storage, Remote Backup, Firewalls and System Security, Broadband Solutions, Wireless Mesh, Design and Remote Access.
The Role
As an integral part of our expansion plans you will assist in the designing and implementation of the network expansion through New Zealand.
About You
Ideally you would have 7+ years IT Network experience working in an ISP environment with tertiary education and CCIE or equivalent certification and the following areas of expertise:
- Network LAN, WAN, architecture,
- Dynamic Routing Protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP),
- Network Security and access control,
- WIFI (Mikrotik, Meraki, Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet),
- VPN and 2 factor authentication,
- Networking experience is desirable.
- Design and configuration of appropriate networking technology and solutions.
- Experience with a variety of Firewall/Routing/ Switching/WIFI Vendors (e.g. Huawei, Mikrotik, Cisco, Allied Telesis, Juniper, HP. etc),
- Load Balancer Experience (NetScaler),
- General understanding of virtualisation and Linux,
- Excellent Visio, Word and Excel skills.
- Vmare and windows server experience is desirable,
- You must have eligibility to be able to work indefinitely in New Zealand and fluent English speaking.
