Our client is a well established New Zealand start-up company that is rapidly growing and they're looking for a Development Manager to come on board to lead and build the development team. 

They're currently looking for a Development Manager to join their Auckland team. They are currently working on the SaaS application using the latest tools and technologies!. Our client is passionate about CI/CD and they're focused on maintaining very high standards of delivery on their platform! They are on the search for a Development Manager who can add value and branch out into other areas. You will be working at the heart of the business and will be a key addition to a close-knit team. 

What you’ll be doing:
  
The role is within an established development team focused on the SaaS application that provides customers with business intelligence and insights. The company as a whole is going through exciting transformation which has allowed for this position to open up.  
  
There will be a refreshing balance between hands-on development and tech leadership, working with existing developers to help them get up to speed with new up to date technologies and run new projects forecasted for this year.
  
The best background for this position will be a candidate with several years of Full Stack development under your belt. You’ll have worked with several different technologies throughout your career and have a good understanding of Ruby.
  
What you’ll need to succeed:
  

• 6+ years of front-end development experience
• In-depth exposure to Javascript frameworks with a little experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Openness to mentoring and coaching across the team
• Have an appreciation for both mobile and web applications
• Superb communication skills both written and verbal
• Passionate about agile development
