We have vacancies throughout the Wellington Region - Johnsonville, Newtown and Wellington City.
A Case Manager directly supports people with Employment, Housing and Financial assistance.
What happens in a Case Manager's day?
The saying 'every day is different' certainly applies. Our clients come from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures.
On any given day a Case Manager can meet with 8-10 people who have different needs and circumstances to confirm any income assistance, housing needs and employment opportunities. Some Case Managers will facilitate seminars for groups of 15-20 people.
Every day this role is about supporting people to:
- Secure employment
- Increase their skills through training
- Manage their financial situation
- Connect with appropriate people and organisations - to help them find their way through complicated life problems

What skills and experience does a Case Manager have?
No formal qualifications are needed for this role but you do need; real-life experience, able to deal with lots of people with different situations and challenges, able to communicate both orally and in writing, confident in navigating computer systems and promote online self-help systems for clients and flexibility to activities at the same time.
