I have a great permanent opportunity for a Senior BA with a strong technical background to join a fast growing company located in Auckland CBD.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work with technical teams on a number of streams of work: 

• System change, map the current and future state of applications and systems that are being changed, migrated or de-commissioned 
• Application availability, map the current availability of systems in line with current SLA's as well as mapping availability requirements on systems that will be upgraded/changed or decommissioned.
• Co-ordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the overall proficiency, functionality and user friendliness of the system enhancement/development.

Essentials you must have to perform this role well:

• At least 5yrs exp. in the IT industry with at least 3yrs exp. in a software development environment
• At least 1 years exp. in testing and software development lifecycle
• Must be able to understand and explain highly technical information
• Exp. in the development and review of testing programme's, test cases, test scripts and their execution in large and medium scales development environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including negotiating and liaising with stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodology having it used it for at least 1year
• SQL scripting and experience of databases
• Must be able to work in a high pressured environment and work towards and meet deadlines. Is calm under pressure.
• Be efficient in documentation requirements, preparing material and liase with developers and testers to document existing data and applications.
