As a Senior Java Developer, you will be delivery focused and provide application and integration development services including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and lifecycle management. 

As part of building a strong team working towards technology transformation across a range of applications you will also work closely with the business, designers and architects achieving the enterprise business/technical objectives.

Technical requirements

You will demonstrate a strong desire to work with open source software to achieve efficiencies and enjoy working with the following technologies: Java, Oracle PL/SQL, T/SQL, Linux, Eclipse IDE, XML, API and Git.

Experience with the following is also desirable: WebSphere, Angular 2, Reactjs, RESTful web services, JSON and automated testing.

Experience with any ESB tools like Tibco and AWS technologies will be an added advantage.

To be considered, your CV and cover letter will clearly demonstrate:

• Excellent application and integration development skills including strong Java, Oracle PL/SQL, T/SQL, Linux and open source software development experience
• Experience of application development using Angular 2 and Reactjs
• Knowledge of mobile app development for both for Android and iOS
• Understanding of project life cycle and Agile development methodologies
• Breadth and depth of experience working at both a high level and in the detail with a focus on quality
• Highly developed written and oral communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts in an easy to understand way
• Strong sense of ownership with a focus on delivery and a proactive drive for improvements
• Bachelor's degree in Programming/Systems or Computer Science or other related field, or equivalent work experience - typically 5 or more years of analysis and programming experience
