THE COMPANY & THE ROLE

Our client is a dynamic and growing specialist commercial architecture, design and project management company with an impeccable reputation throughout New Zealand delivering design solutions for a number of commercial, government, retail, hospitality, office and residential projects. 

This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technician to join a company that is much more than an architectural practice and is leading New Zealand as the one-stop consultancy for commercial fit-out design and construction.


ABOUT YOU

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Extensive experience working with AutoCAD and Revit
• Design and details orientated with proven technical ability (we will want to see your CAD drawings)
• Working knowledge of all applicable codes and regulatory agency guidelines (NZ building Code and NZS3604)
• Knowledge of Council process with consents application (Building and Resource)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• True team player – able and willing to support junior team members; liaise with external and internal stakeholders
• Self-motivated with proactive approach to work
• Focused and eager to learn; not afraid to explore new design concepts
