We are on the lookout for an experienced, enthusiastic and talented Landscape Planner to join our energetic and passionate design team based in Wellington. Contributing to some of the most challenging projects in New Zealand, the role involves working as part of a team across a range of tasks, including undertaking site visits, writing assessments and preparing graphics which may require time away from Tauranga.

Ideally, you’ll bring at least 5 years’ professional experience, along with the following skills and attributes:

• A Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or a Landscape Planning related field.
• Are highly organised, reliable, resilient and able to persevere while managing multiple tasks and deliverables.
• An ability to think strategically, conceptually and analytically while maintaining a focus on wide-ranging or long-term implications.
• Understanding of landscape planning methodologies and experience at drafting related reports. (Skills in both technical report writing and in the preparation of graphic material are required).
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including being an effective and confident communicator (both written and oral) to a broad audience and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Expertise in the use of the Office365 suite (particularly Word and Excel).
• Membership of relevant professional organisation.
