Due to growth and the large number of project currently in play, we are looking for someone to join the Store Process team in a one-year fixed term role.

In this role, you will be supporting the Store Process Improvement Manager to improve store operations process and execute key business strategies throughout our nationwide network of over 80 Mitre 10 and Mitre 10 MEGA stores. You will create and review Mitre 10 best practice business process and policy documents, focussing on the entire process from beginning to end, including the documenting and publishing of operational processes, policies, and guides for our stores.

 

You will also have responsibility of the delivery of the weekly communications to the store network and other communications as necessary.

 

With multiple projects in play at any one time, this role offers variety and the opportunity to really affect change.

 

For this position, we are looking for someone with demonstrable experience and understanding of operational process development and implementation. We also need someone who has:

  • Business writing and editing skills;

  • Design and formatting expertise – MS Word experience is vital, with other relevant software/systems experience very helpful;

  • The ability to convey information in a logical, clear and convincing way;

  • Excellent command of written and verbal English;

  • A high degree of commitment and responsibility;

  • A high level of customer focus and

  • A keen eye for detail.

 

Above all you need to enjoy process, be a logical, methodical thinker, flexible and adaptable, and open to change. Operations and/or retail experience would be a real advantage.
