If you are a self-starter and keen to join a high performing team in an exciting engineering and environmental consultancy, then this is the opportunity for you.

This role is packed full of variety where you will need to think on your feet and be ready to tackle anything that is thrown your way with a proactive, resilient, and can-do attitude, and work as a collaborative team. You will need to be able to multi-task as you will be assisting with financial processes one minute, then creating or formatting a report document in Word the next.

The role:

You will provide high quality end to end administration and financial assistance to a team of Project Managers, who are managing a number of projects at any one time including things like:

  • Provide a broad range of general administration and support to the delivery of projects to internal clients
  • Set-up projects and create project files in Deltek Vision
  • Provide administration of financial processes
  • Monthly invoicing, expenses, accruals and reports
  • Close out jobs and archive project documentation
  • Liaise fortnightly with Project Managers, to understand financial status of project (variances/outstanding debts/unbilled etc)
  • Track and report on financials and identify anomalies
  • QA checks of project documentation (proof reading, grammar and formatting)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, quality, accuracy and actively monitor the financials on for the project
  • Experience with tenders proposals
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite (and MS Project)
  • Strong organisation skills and ability to prioritise
  • Confidence at providing administration duties for meetings, including minutes, organisation, catering and technical support.
  • Motivated team player with the ability to take ownership of your work.
  • Confident in producing organisation charts and diagrams using applications such as Visio
  • Working knowledge of Acrobat Exchange
  • Experience working in a financial organisation would be advantageous and / or a financial qualification
