An exciting opportunity has arisen for a switched-on Administrator who loves all aspects of Sports to join an awesome team based on the North Shore. It is busy and varied and the purpose of this role is to ensure that you drive for efficiency and effectiveness in all business operations by providing world leading Business Performance Support.

The duties of this role will include:

  • Providing high level PA support including diary/travel management as required
  • Attend all meetings and workshops required for Athlete Performance support leaders and taking minutes
  • Providing administration support
  • Completing inductions for all team staff and key contractors when required
  • Work with the Finance team to ensure accurate and timely coding and data entry of team invoices
  • Assisting with special projects
  • Ensuring manuals are updated and current
  • Ensuring that the Auckland facility meets health and safety obligations including acting as Fire Warden and First Aid officer
  • Taking all reasonable and appropriate steps to minimise/eliminate risk of harm or injury
  • Reporting all work place hazards and accidents

We are after a special individual who has a passion for the sports industry. What we are looking for is someone who has:

  • 3+ years working in a mid-senior level Administration role
  • A tertiary degree in a related field e.g. Business Administration
  • High level of analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to think outside the box
  • Detail orientated and ensures accuracy and efficiency in their work
  • Self-motivated, with a high level of professionalism
  • Outstanding customer service
  • Understanding of confidentiality requirements
  • Proven ability to multi-task, set priorities and achieve targets and deadlines
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent judgement and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written 
  • Intermediate level user of Microsoft suite - Excel, PowerPoint
  • Competency using Microsoft Office - Office365
  • Knowledge of, and commitment to, the Treaty of Waitangi
