We have an opportunity for someone to join our close-knit and high performing Case Management Team based at Auckland Central Police Station in Auckland City District.

This is an essential role supporting the investigation of offences in the Auckland City District. You will be working in a varied role, supporting the Investigation Support Unit by producing products using CCTV to identify suspects, and also providing support around the completion of DNA paperwork, forensic hits, and the management and disclosure of Official Information Act and Privacy Act requests.

This well-respected and supportive team work with internal and external stakeholders, delivering a positive, responsive and timely service. It is a role which will build your capability around a variety of facets of Our Business.

Skills:

  • Work productively and contribute as part of a team
  • Develop and maintain a range of positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage time effectively with time constraints to complete competing demands and expectations of a wide range of people
  • Two way communication with a wide variety of people

Experience:

  • Demonstrates a proficiency in the use of computer applications, including Microsoft applications and Acrobat Pro XI
  • Having a basic understanding of Official Information Act and Privacy Acts is an advantage, but not essential
