An opportunity exists for professional front desk person to join our small team in our busy specialist rooms based in Kensington, Whangarei. 

The role of receptionist is a pivotal one, and we are seeking candidates with proven experience working in a fast paced, front desk environment.

Some of your main duties will include:

• Greeting all patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Answering incoming phone calls
• Dealing with general enquiries from other medical organisations and professionals.
• Making appropriate patient appointments
• Processing invoices/payments
• Preparing patient records
• General admin support as required
• Providing additional support to our medical typists from time to time.

To be considered you will ideally:

• Have proven experience as a receptionist (Medical reception experience an advantage but not essential)
• Have excellent communication skills and a warm and friendly demeanour
• Be proficient with MS office (Word, Excel and Outlook)  
• Feel confident with picking up new systems and processes
• Have a positive and  "can-do" attitude and be happy to help out wherever required
• Be able to problem solve and support the team
• Be precise and pay attention to accuracy and detail.

This a part-time position of 21 hrs per week, with additional hours required to cover sick and annual leave.
