About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Receptionist to join our friendly team at our beautiful, resort style village Malvina Major Retirement Village in Wellington. In this rewarding role you will be the first port of call for phone queries form inside and outside the organisation. Being on reception, you will also be greeting our visitors and residents, assisting with administrative tasks and supporting the team with the smooth running of the Village. You will compassionate and caring towards our elderly residents.
This is a casual role and you must be available to work evenings and weekends.
What we are looking for:
- Outstanding telephone manner and communication skills
- Reception and administration experience
- Computer literate with good typing ability
- Well presented, friendly and reliable
- Patience and empathy with elderly residents and their families
- High level of initiative
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
