A great opportunity has become available for an experienced office administrator to join our team.

CAF (Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles) are international market leaders in the design, manufacture, maintenance and supply of equipment and components for railway systems.

In Auckland we are delivering and maintaining the new electric trains on the Auckland passenger network and we are looking for an experienced administrator to support our Finance and Facilities teams.  

In this role, you would be responsible for:

  • Support of the Finance, Facilities and other departs as and when required with administration related tasks.
  • Input Financial data into the ERP systems such as GMAO and BAAN to support production activities
  • Management of the facilities data entry to GMAO to support the facilities activities and assist the Facilities Manager.
  • Supplier management of invoice processing, account payment queries, supplier queries, creating new suppliers and managing the accounts inbox
  • Assisting with fixed asset management collating and reporting
  • Control all facilities work order documentation ensuring correct completion, and storage of records
  • Assist with the purchasing department in raising purchase orders and matching of invoicing from time to time
  • Prepare stakeholder reports
  • Liaise and manage local and international contractors. Also build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and contractors
  • Actively seeking opportunities to improve processes, system enhancements and new innovations

To be successful in this role you will

  • Proficient in all MS office applications (particularly excel)
  • Ability to operate and develop databases
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
