At Violence Free Communities we create projects, events and tools that support people to enjoy active participation in their community. In this way we aim to successfully promote community resilience and other effective alternatives to violence.
We currently have a great opportunity for an Administration & Accounts Co-ordinator to join our small team. You will have the opportunity to make your mark by applying your accounts and efficient administration capabilities, as well as your knowledge and experience of community development. Your input into project development will also be highly valued.
This varied role is part-time with flexible hours, comprising 8 hours per week accounts work, plus an average of 12 hours per week administration and project co-ordination.
We are looking for someone who is engaging and energetic, efficient with attention to detail, and a team player who is self-motivating and shows initiative. The key capabilities and experience we are looking for are:

Knowledge and experience of community development

5+ years' experience in accounts and administration, including microsoft office systems

Experience in maintaining social media platforms and other marketing communications systems

High IT understanding preferred

Demonstrated success at building effective relationships
Our offices are based in a park setting, with onsite parking and just two minutes from the town centre.
