About the role
The dedicated team are looking for a responsible Duty Manager to join them on a part time basis, to be the first point of contact for our residents.
Tasks will include helping maintain a safe environment at all times; actively responding to emergency situations when required; and carrying out daily cleaning of communal areas to keep the village 'sparkling'. You will appreciate how important this position is in delivering an outstanding service to our residents, so you will have empathy for the older person; excellent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate in a clear, considerate fashion; and an industrious, diligent approach to ensuring that the job is done to the highest standards.
On offer is a part time opportunity, working 16 hours per week. Hours are Saturday and Sunday 11.30pm - 7.30am
Skills & experience required
- Outstanding customer service skills
- High standard of personal presentation
- Highly organised and calm under pressure
- Strong problem solving skills
- Experience working in aged care advantageous
- Ability to work autonomously while being a supportive member of the team
- First aid certificate preferred but training can be provided
