About us
Lion Apiaries is one of the largest queen bee producers in New Zealand. We also produce premium local honey and manuka honey.
Our apiaries are mostly in the South Auckland area particularly Manurewa and Drury areas.

Some experience is an advantage but not essential as on the job training will be given. This is a full time position, but if you prefer seasonal work we'll consider it.
You will have an advantage in beekeeping advancement working along side our knowledgeable, experienced team. Our culture is to help each other and share our knowledge to lift the whole team.
Experience and skills from other industries are transferable to our trade. eg. Builder/Construction, Engineering, Electronics, IT/Computers, Customer Service, Food Handling/Hospitality, Manufacturing, Horticulture, Agriculture, Dairy, Farming, Fitness, Forklift, 4WD/Off Road Driving.

Beekeepers need to be fit and strong both mentally and physically. Peak season can require longer hours, nights, and weekend work at times.
