The team at Mitre 10 Waihi's busy Trade Yard pride ourselves on understanding the customers project and helping them with the products and know-how to get the job done right. This fast-paced department is mainly focused on our trade clientele, however we enjoy working alongside the weekend DIY-ers as well. If you have the passion and knowledge for DIY and the customer service skills to match, then apply to join our team today!
The top of our list of criteria is someone with exceptional customer service skills and the experience to match. You must be genuinely passionate about helping your customers reach their goals. We are also seeking someone with a team focus, who thrives on team work and working towards common goals. Experience in a similar role would be preferred, however full training will be provided.
If you have the passion, the rest of it we can teach! Some of your day-to-day duties will include:
- Stock management;
- Pulling orders for Trade clientele;
- A forklift license would be an advantage;
- Because of the nature of the product there will be a fair amount of manual handling (i.e. heavy lifting required in the role).
We currently have a full time role, working Sunday to Thursday (42.5 hours/week).
