The centre
A renowned group of childcare centres expanding onto the North Shore are currently looking for an experienced Centre Manager to lead the way. This purpose built centre will be opening later in the year, but is needing someone now to help with the set-up. No expense has been spared on this build and this centre is set to be something truly spectacular. It will have fantastic ratios, beautiful resources, and a carefully considered flow and layout.
The role
This is an opportunity for an experienced centre manager to be a part of setting up and managing a brand new, 100 license centre. Leading up to licensing you will be involved in induction, purchasing resources, kitchen set-up, enrolments and hiring. On opening, you will then take over responsibility for the day to day running of the centre, supported by the business manager and onsite franchisee.
The role will provide you with the scope and opportunity to demonstrate your effective management skills, create innovative ideas and build your own team.
Qualifications & Requirement
- Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching
- Full NZ ECE Teacher registration
- 10+ years ECE experience, preferably as a centre manager
- A history of obtaining good ERO reviews
- Ability to engage with and foster strong relationships with children, staff and whanau
- Have strong interpersonal communication skills
