Working at VIP Transport offers an extremely unique experience. We are seeking a highly-experienced Safety and Training Specialist for a full-time role in Wellington CBD.
This is a diverse and challenging role that is best suited for a seasoned professional with a background in developing and implementing Health & Safety training programmes for commercial drivers. The key function of the role is to construct and facilitate the Safety and Training capability for the department of the agency.
To be considered for this role you must have the following:
- Experience in developing, delivering and facilitating in-depth training programmes
- Experience in Fatigue Risk Management
- Experience in Safety Management Systems
- Cognitive understanding of NZ health and Safety Legislation
- Comprehension of Best Practice Safety and Training Methodology
- Demonstrated experience in implementing OSH initiatives
- The ability to create and maintain relative training manuals and systems
- Conduct in-depth training sessions with numerous staff members
- Advanced Driver Training Skills (highly beneficial)
- NZ Government experience would benefit
- NZ residency or NZ citizenship
