Centre Director Position
This 6 month fixed term employment opportunity is for a person who is passionate about promoting the vision and values of our Centre, engaging in and inspiring staff in a high quality ECE. This community organisation serves the healthcare community to provide an optimal learning environment for all.
Profile:
This position is for an inspirational, qualified experienced leader to work with and alongside the Management Committee, Education Leader, Pedagogical Leaders, kaiako, whanau and tamariki to develop collaborative and engaging ECE and Out of School Programmes throughout the Centre.
Key responsibilities:
- Working knowledge of NZ EC Regulations 2008 and current trends of EC in NZ.
- Ensuring all Health and Safety regulations are met.
- Facilitate and implement operational strategy
- Understand the governance role and actively support the committee.
- Promote and lead the vision of the Centre.
- Explore new initiatives that will further develop relationships with Tamariki and whanau.
- Promote growth of the staff group through regular support.
