My client is a leading provider of education and training NZ wide with an holistic and interactive approach to learning which provides memorable experiences in a nurturing and caring environment for tamariki and whānau.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Centre Manager to manage this purpose built, innovative centre. You will be responsible for mentoring your team, building close relationships with whānau, leading programme planning and self-review, centre enrolments and budget management will all be part of your day
Job Requirements:
You will need:
• Diploma or Degree in Teaching Early Childhood Education
• Education Council of Aotearoa New Zealand full Teacher Registration
• Three to five years’ management in early childhood education
• Experience teaching in a range of early childhood education environments
• The ability to manage and lead a diverse team
• Excellent planning and facilitation skills
• A sound understanding of āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) with the ability to greet and acknowledge people in te reo Māori and pronounce Māori words correctly
