Supply Planner - Manufacturing

Based at our Auckland Head Office in Penrose and reporting to the National Planning Manager, you will be responsible for developing and leading the North Island manufacturing supply planning and providing the master production schedules for all North Island manufacturing plans.

Key to this role will be delivering continuity of supply as measured by DIFOT, “A item” availability and safety stock breach, customer service targets and consistency achieved in meeting inventory targets across all manufacturing sites. 

This is a Sales, Distribution and Operations facing role, and plays a critical part in providing visibility of forward inventory to meet customer requirements along with highlighting and alleviating any potential shortfalls.  You will play a key part in supporting demand planning, and play a pivotal to Humes’ S&OP processes.  

You will be bringing with you a proven track record within a manufacturing organisation and a relevant business degree. You’ll have spent at least 5+ Years’ experience in demand/supply planning, scheduling or similar role. You have solid experience with an ERP system, advanced Excel skills and are adept at continuous process improvements
