THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the DC Manager, you will be required to coordinate the warehouse, production and operations team’s daily activities to ensure the efficient processing of materials and manufacturing of products whilst ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare standards, manufacturing and operational policies and procedures and quality standards.
 
ESSENTIALLY…
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting safety in the workplace following all legislative requirements and relevant codes of practice applicable
  • Ensure all operators, contractors and visitors comply with the established safety polices & procedures
  • Participate in developing a safety culture of safety awareness
  • Ability to lead and communicate to multiple teams across 3 shifts
  • Facilitate and proactively manage daily production requirements
  • Maintain inventory accuracy via a systematic cycle counting program and strict compliance with all relevant Sarbanes-Oxley procedures
  • Develop a close working relationship with the Customer Service Team
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of accountability for improvement 


To be successful in this role you must possess the following experience and attributes:

  • Be a strong communicator with the ability to establish multi-level relationships
  • Possess a drive and passion to make change, and to challenge the status quo
  • Intermediate Excel/Word skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Be able to analyse problems/issues
  • Excellent coaching techniques
