Mill Hands - Whangarei Industrial Area
We have several mill hand vacancies available immediately and continuously recruit throughout the year for our clients large timber mill. So whether you are available now or looking to change jobs in the future a role like this could be the one for you.
You will be processing timber which includes manual handling and machine operation. Dependent on which department you are assigned to there may be shift work involved but this does not include Fri, Sat or Sun nights and very rarely would involve Sat and Sun days. You may be required to do day shifts and night shifts.
On the job training will be provided and you will be working for a large multi national company that offers great career opportunities.
It is preferred that you have had some exposure to manufacturing or labouring roles but not essential. Shifts are generally 10.5 hours long and you will need to have a reasonable level of fitness but most of all a great attitude towards working as a team member and a high respect for health and safety.
Applicants must be able to pass a pre employment drug screen and medical.
