This opportunity is with the New Zealand operation of a highly respected, long established international company which supplies products and to a broad range of business sectors.  The company is by far the NZ market leader.  The company has multiple facilities throughout New Zealand, this particular role is based at their major facility in Wiri.

This role is responsible for providing leadership, planning and monitoring in order to achieve excellence in all elements of operations within this site.

This will include utilising best practice methods to obtain continuous improvement and cost efficiency, ensuring product quality and service delivery, plus maintaining a first class safe working environment.

Leadership responsibilities will include a continual focus on staff training and development.

As part of a global organization, the company has clearly defined goals, KPIs etc, the ability to work within this type of environment is essential.

For this role we are seeking candidates with a minimum of five years experience in managing a significant operational/processing facility.  You demonstrate skills in management of a continuous improvement environment.  You have proven people management ability with effective communication skills and you enjoy a busy, fast paced environment.  The role requires a suitable degree of computer literacy, previous experience in SAP would be advantageous.
