Ergo Consulting is one of NZ’s leading independently owned specialist engineering consulting firms with a team of electrical engineers who deliver solutions to a range of clients in infrastructure and industry. We are an established consulting firm with a successful track record over nearly 15 years. As a result of our continued growth and development, the next stage of our evolution includes the creation of a separate company – Neo Engineering Consultancy Ltd – specifically to undertake activities in low voltage, industrial control systems. Ergo and Neo operate from separate corporate offices in Newmarket.
We are now looking to appoint two Management Accountants, one for each company. Reporting to the respective CEO's, you will be part of the management team and your focus will be on providing a high level of leadership and support to each business in the following areas:
- Monthly reporting of company financial performance
- Preparation of full annual financial statements
- Payroll, insurances and some property management
- Partnering with project managers and the technical teams
- Providing job specific financial advice as required
- Managing effective systems to assist with budgeting, forecasting and planning
- Responsibility for all financial systems
- Preparation of full tax statements (preferred)

We are looking for people who have a proven background in a commercial accounting role, preferably in a consultancy or professional services setting as a sound understanding of a time charging environment is essential. Exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to be an effective team player are critical for success in this role.
