Goldpine has been a part of Nelson for 40 years. Located approximately 50 kilometres from Nelson, in the Golden Downs forest, is our Production facility where you will find the latest technology in the round wood industry. It's not your usual every day work environment and you'll be joining a hard working team that thrives in the challenges this provides.
Your main duties will include working as part of a team to ensure our post and poles are produced ensuring quality, environmental and efficiency expectations are maintained. Tasks will be rotated and varied (e.g. feeding logs through the production line, wiring of post bundles).
Ideally you will have experience in a timber processing environment, however previous experience in a production environment may also be considered.
You will also need to have:
- A commitment to safe work practices
- The ability to work under pressure
- A strong work ethic and reliability
- Energy and enthusiasm
- A physical fitness suitable for heavy lifting/manual handling
Hours of work for this role are Monday to Friday 6am to 4pm, with free transport to and from work provided.
