About the role
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Operator to join the GrainCorp Foods Manufacturing site in East Tamaki. In this role, you will be working as part of an efficient food production team using manual handling techniques and processes aligned with GrainCorp’s safety guidelines. You will actively contribute to the food safety targets within the team.
Key to your success will be your willingness to step up, be part of the solution and hold the team to account combined with your eagerness and ability to want to learn, grow and develop your skills and experience with GrainCorp.
About your experience
Your previous experience working within food manufacturing or similar will enable you to showcase your ability to adapt to change quickly and work within a high-volume food production environment. You will be a process driven team player; flexible and willing to complete tasks; motivated to learn; enthusiastic and committed to achieving goals and an active and involved contributor within the team. With your mechanical aptitude, you can fault-find and trouble shoot sharing your knowledge with others. You will be flexible in your approach to hours covering a roster within 6am to 6om. Full PPE provided by GrainCorp.
In addition to the above, the successful candidate will have:
• The ability to achieve production based KPI’s.
• Basic computer literacy - including Excel and SAP
• Forklift Licence - desirable.
• A Trade Certificate - desirable.
