About the role:

This diverse and fast paced role will see you take responsibility for staff management, training and development of your team ensuring an exceptional level of customer service is provided from within the distribution centre. Leading from the front, you will work closely with the team to successfully meet KPIs and targets and identify areas for process improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Coach and motivate your team to achieve performance targets
- Drive process improvement opportunities
- Manage compliance requirements and drive Health and Safety initiatives
What are we after?
- An experienced people manager with a genuine passion for staff development
- Goal driven person who focuses on delivering excellence in customer service
- A thorough understanding of Health, Safety and Sustainability processes
- High energy, ambition, and creativity with an entrepreneurial approach
- A strategic thinker and strong communicator who can identify opportunities for improvement
- Indepth understanding of operations fundamentals, budget management and target achievement
- Strong computer skills including Word and Excel
- Experience within an Inwards Goods DC environment would be an advantage
