Our client supply pallets, plastic crates, and sustainable shelving equipment to a range of large companies across NZ.
An exciting opportunity exists in the Wiri site for a Service Centre Manager to manage the operational facility.

Key Accountabilities:

• Health and safety of employees
• Use best practice methods to obtain continuous improvements in cost efficiency, product quality, and service delivery
• Ensure that effective administration and financial controls are in place
• Lead in a way that develops talent
• Maintain relationships with all key stakeholders
• Lead and direct your team in order to achieve corporate goals
• Ensure that your team is conducting accurate and timely pallet/ crate transactions

We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

• Ideally you will have a tertiary qualification in an operational discipline
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing an operational facility
• Strong written, oral communication skills and organisational skills
• People management experience and the ability to communicate effectively with a multi-cultural workforce
• Risk management experience and knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety
• Experience in industrial relations and knowledge of employment legislation
• SAP knowledge
• Firm but fair leadership style and the ability to have the difficult conversations
