The Organisation

Civtec was established in 2014 and has had a strongly upward trajectory since then. Civtec provide directional drilling, underground thrusting, civil and utilities works. Since inception they have continued to diversify and now have capabilities covering a range of services and technologies servicing the residential, commercial and industrial sectors.  They have a dedicated team of Engineers, Field Technicians together with the latest technology and high-quality machinery provide civil and undergrounding services.

 

The role:

As our Materials Co-ordinator you will be responsible for the management and coordination of stock and material and manage its movements across our multiple work sites.  You will bring your previous stock management experience, proactive focus and an ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels.  You will enjoy a challenge, be able to multi task, think logically and succeed in delivering your objectives. 

 

As Materials Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Determining the quantity of stock required and organising timing of deliveries to ensure stock is always on hand
  • Ensuring all remote stock locations such as field vehicles are adequately provisioned, and usage tracked to ensure efficient use of material
  • Monitoring and forecasting upcoming levels of demand
  • Compiling material and inventory movement reporting
  • Seeking out opportunities for continuous improvement of materials management processes and waste minimisation
  • Ensuring seamless stock and material management processes are implemented  and adhered to
  • Establishing, developing and maintaining business relationships between suppliers, manufacturers and internal departments and customers

  

Skills and attributes, we are looking for:

  • Proven Experience of stock control in a multi-site environment
  • Sound computer skills, experience with Simpro is desirable
  • Forward thinking individual who can problem solve and offer simple and practical solutions
  • A good eye for detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Dealing with suppliers and internal customers
  • Ideally have a Forklift licence
  • Ability to prioritise and handle a varied workload time-effectively without fuss, and to a high standard
