You will be helping to collect recycling and rubbish as part of Smart Environmental’s commercial and Council collection services in the Rotorua. Based out of our central Rotorua yard, you will be working in Rotorua and around the beautiful lakes and rural areas. Truck parking is included at our site. Waste industry experience is helpful, but not required.
We will provide you with a:
- Guaranteed 5 year contract (longer if preferred)

You will be part of an awesome team of 6 Owner Drivers and your daily routes are scheduled so you know where you will be each day. A 5 year + contract means security for you and your family, and you also get Smart’s group discounts on fuel, servicing etc. Full operational training and H&S support are also provided.
We can often help with truck financing and moving costs if from out of area.
You will need:
- A reasonable degree of fitness
- To want to work for yourself and work unsupervised
- A Class 4 truck license
- The ability to obtain a Transport Services License (TSL)
