The world of mail is changing and we are managing a shift to a high volume of parcel delivery.  
Our Auckland Operations Centre at NZ post is like one big, well oiled machine.  Thousands of packages and parcels pass through our centre every day and we work hard as a team to ensure they reach their destination as smoothly as possible. 

It is an exciting and energetic environment to work in where we take pride in offering an efficient service to our customers whilst having fun along the way.    

In this dynamic job you will:

• Sort our customer's parcels, freight and some mail
• Dispatch correctly to our couriers to ensure they can deliver on time
• Handle freight in a careful and professional manner
• Liaise with various internal contacts to solve problems and raise issues where required

To be successful in this role you will need to

• Be available to work Monday - Friday, 2pm-10:30pm - there are no exceptions to this. 
• Be ready for a physically demanding role - heavy lifting is required and you will need the level of fitness to keep up. 
• Enjoy working hard and be confident managing your time
• Have an accurate eye for detail and a sense of urgency
• Have good geographical knowledge of your local area
