Regal Furniture, a well-established Hawkes Bay commercial furniture manufacturing business that designs and manufactures upholstered furniture for the commercial markets requires a full  time employee with good work ethic to join our furniture prep team.

Key Responsibilities:
1) Prepare timber frames for upholstering.
2) Perform other general factory duties in line with your capabilities.

Essential Experience/Attributes:
1) Ideally have experience in a joinery or furniture making role. 
2) Quick learner and desire to learn.
3) Attention to detail.
4) Ability to perform multiple tasks.
5) Good team player that enjoys working in a dynamic environment.
6) Knowledge of the practices, methods, tools, materials, and equipment for furniture timber frame making.
7) Some knowledge of the occupational hazards of upholstering/joinery work and of necessary safety precautions when working in a factory production environment.
8) Ability to understand and work from general instructions. 

The successful applicant may need to complete a practical skills test. He/she must be a good oral and written communicator and be able to manage his/her own time well and work to deadlines.

The successful applicant will be a proven multi-task worker and have good attention to detail.
