We require someone with previous stores and warehousing experience who is able to also do physical work.

The ideal candidate will have

• Genuine interest and knowledge with proven experience as a store person.

• You are a self-starter and pride yourself on your high attention to detail.

• Strong focus on H&S

• A current OSH forklift certificate (reach and counter balance) and F endorsement is an advantage, however not a requirement.

• Flexible to work more than 8 hours a day

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

• Provide two positive verbal work references

• New Zealand citizen or resident with eligibility to work in New Zealand

• At least a restricted or full NZ licence and have reliable transport

• Physically fit as manual handling can be part of the roles

• Excellent attendance, punctuality and reliability

Types of stores work available

• Receipting, picking, packing, despatching and stock control

• Receiving inwards goods

• Stock away in racks and shelves

• Process daily orders, collate, check, dispatch.

• Loading trucks with outwards goods

• Strap and shrink-wrap where needed

• Assisting customers in the shop and preparing orders for dispatch

• Keeping yard tidy and pallets sorted and stacked nicely and all other general housekeeping

• Physically fit as heavy lifting is required

• Attention to detail when handling breakable products

• Complete inventory stocktakes
