Skyline Aviation is a leading air ambulance provider in New Zealand.
Our company is based at the Hawkes Bay Airport in a purpose-built facility and has other bases at, Auckland, Wellington, Hastings and Gisborne
We operate Fixed Wing and Rotary aircraft supporting air ambulance and air charter operations throughout New Zealand and internationally. The service operates 24/7.
We are seeking suitably experienced candidates who will also meet our fitness test standards, to join our team on a permanent basis to assist as a crewman for inter hospital transfers and retrievals, primarily in fixed wing aircraft.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Providing the medical teams with support throughout the mission including Life Port stretcher operation, cabin temperature control, communication with pilots, loading and unloading of patients, passenger briefings, carrying medical equipment and assisting with mission coordination.
- Booking ambulances and confirming timing
- Washing and drying of the aircraft
- Assisting with aircraft role changes
- Assisting engineering as required
- Filling Oxygen bottles
- Cleaning the inside of aircraft after each mission in accordance to the companies Infection Control Policy
- Assisting the flight crew in any way within the skill set of the Employee to ensure the safety of the flight and the welfare of the patients, passengers and crew
- Crewman are required for both domestic and international flights and must hold a current passport and clean Police record.
- Also require current NZ residency and the right to work in NZ.
