Our client established their New Zealand owned business in 2004 and are Designers and manufacturers of world class commercial and residential furniture. This is the ideal role for someone who relishes process, accuracy and attention to detail!  The key requirement of this position is to ensure all parts required for manufacturing and assembly are accurately purchased, within the required timeframes. It’s the perfect combination of administration, purchasing and inventory management.  Key requirements of this role are to ensure that all product components are purchased in a timely manner, purchase orders are accurately raised, stock levels are managed effectively, ETAs are continually monitored, and product codes and inventory levels are updated as required. 

To secure this role, you’ll have 3+ years of proven administration experience gained in a similar role, managing multiple projects and deadlines.  You’ll be that go-to person who is happiest when you’re making things happen!  You’ll be self-motivated, have good common sense, and be a problem solver who is used to working in a busy environment and juggling lots of balls in the air at once. You’ll be recognised for your accuracy and attention to detail.  If you have a background in furniture / interiors or have previous experience in a purchasing role that would be an advantage, but it is not essential.  You’ll need strong computer skills - you must be very familiar with MS Excel & Word.  You’ll be well presented and be able to demonstrate both strong written and verbal communication skills.
